THESE ITEMS BELONGED TO A USMC ADVISOR WHO ADVISED THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE MARINE CORPS 3RD BATTALION FROM JUNE 64’ – JUNE 65’. THIS INDIVIDUAL ALSO WENT ON TO SERVE (2) ADDITIONAL TOURS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA, ANOTHER IN SOUTH VIETNAM FROM 1966 UNTIL 1968 WITH MARINE RECON, AS WELL AS A TOUR IN LAOS AS AN ADVISOR TO VANG PAO’S LAOTIAN IRREGULAR FORCES. THE ITEMS OFFERED HERE WE BELIEVE ARE FROM HIS TOUR IN LAOS WHERE HIS OFFICAL TITLE WAS ASSISTANT NAVAL ATTACHE, VIENTAINE LAOS.
